IMPORTANT NOTICE -RESIDENTS OF THE
LAKE HILLS FARMS WATER DISTRICT
Lake Hill Farms Residents
Due to an unforeseen circumstance with a pressure relief valve while changing a hydrant this morning in Lake Hills Farms, the water department had to shut off the water. The Water Department is on site currently repairing the issue. It is anticipated that water will be restored by approximately 2:00 pm. We are sorry for any inconvenience. After the water is restored, as a precaution, a boil water advisory will be in effect for Lake Hill Farms only until the minimum of Monday 8/10.
BOIL YOUR WATER BEFORE USING:
Bring tap water to a rolling boil, boil for one minute, and cool before using. Or use bottled water certified for sale by the New York State Department of Health. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.
For more information about boil water events and using water for bathing, cooking, cleaning and other uses during these times see: www.health.ny.gov/environmental/water/drinking/boilwater/
