The Chester Fire District and the Town of Chester are happy to announce that the Chester Fire District has been awarded a $3,500 grant for thermal imaging cameras. The Town of Chester’s grant writers, Millennium Strategies, submitted this grant application in 2025 with the help of Chester FD representatives.
“These cameras will be crucial in helping us fight wildland fires and will help keep costs down for our taxpayers. We are thankful to the Town of Chester and their grant writers for helping us prepare this grant application and secure this equipment.” – Chester FD Board of Commissioners.
