A message from The Town of Chester Highway Department.
A Blizzard has been predicted for Sunday, February 22nd until Monday, February 23rd. The storm is forecasted to bring double digit snow amounts with the possibility of sleet and freezing rain and gusty winds. The Supervisor’s Office has issued a State of Emergency with restricted
travel. With white-out conditions likely, please follow the requests below.
PLEASE:
Placing snow on the road results in slushy, icy conditions. It is a hazard to all the traveling public. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE SNOW OR ICE IN THE ROADWAY. Be assured that the Town of Chester Highway Department will be out for the duration of the storm and after to clean up and ensure that the roads are safe for all traveling public.
