IMPORTANT NOTICE – NON-PERMITTED DOOR-TO-DOOR SOLICITATION The Town of Chester has become aware of certain pest control companies soliciting business door-todoor within the Town borders. To date, there have been no permits issued to any pest control businesses to solicit this way.
If you encounter a company that cannot present a valid Town of Chester Peddler’s Permit, you may report the incident to the Chester Police Department for further investigation.
In addition, the Town of Chester has a No-Knock Registry. This allows for residents to add their address to a list that is used to prohibit solicitation by permitted business. Contact the Town Clerk’s Office for further assistance. 845-469-7000×4
