Boil Water Rescind Notice
As of August 6, 2026 at 3:15 PM, the Town of Chester Water Department has rescinded the boil water advisory for Wood Road, Mari Road, and Wright Road in the Sugar Loaf Hills water district. Testing shows that the water is safe and that there were no contaminants found. Normal use without boiling may be resumed. There is no need to change water filters, screens, or run extra water through your pipes. The health and welfare of our residents is always our top priority. If you have any questions, please call the water department at 845-469-7000, ext 322.
