NOTICE OF ADOPTION
Please take notice that the Town Board of the Town of Chester adopted LOCAL LAW 1 OF 2025
A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND CHAPTER 95 OF THE TOWN OF CHESTER CODE, ENTITLED “WATER”
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Chester, County of Orange State of New York, as follows:
Section 1. Legislative Purpose
It is the purpose of this legislation to regulate the materials used and the manner in which connections to the Town’s water infrastructure are made to ensure the safety of the Town’s water system as well as provide for the imposition of water charges and the collection thereof.
A copy of the local law is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 1786 Kings Highway, Chester, New York.
