NOTICE OF ADOPTION
LOCAL LAW 8 of 2026
Please take notice that the Town Board of the Town of Chester adopted Local Law 8 of 2026, entitled LOCAL LAW 8, OF 2026, A LOCAL LAW AMENDING ARTICLE V (VETERANS TAX EXEMPTIONS) OF CHAPTER 87 (TAXATION) OF THE TOWN OF CHESTER TOWN CODE TO PROVIDE FOR AN ADDITIONAL EXEMPTION FOR THE PRIMARY RESIDENCE OF DISABLED VETERANS to the Town Code of the Town of Chester on September 23, 2026. It is in the process of being filed with the Secretary of State. A copy of the local law is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 1786 Kings Highway, Chester, New York.
